Ghana Afro Root and reggae musician Rocky Dawuni says Ghana should be proud of the peace we are enjoying as a democratic nation.
Speaking on Sunyani based Akonoba FM's Reggae Embassy show the Grammy Awards Nominee urges Ghanaians to protect the stability of the nation in this year's General elections.
"We should know that our forefathers fought for the peace of our nation let us all embrace it, let us know that this kind of peace we are enjoying today is a blessed from God. If we lose it today it would be very hard to restore it, this year's General elections is a test for us to prove to God that we appreciate the peace we have"
"I have been to so many countries who had Civil wars such as Rwanda for peace building and I have seen the effects of Wars. Let us value the blessings we have as a nation and have a peaceful Elections" the African reggae fever hitmaker added.
Rocky Dawuni is the first Ghanaian artist to be nominated for the Grammy Awards when his "Branches of the same Tree was nominated for Best Reggae album in 2015.
He is currently promoting his latest EP "Bunbon" which is getting a massive airplays accros Ghana and Internationally.
