I will Stop "Sakawa" in Berekum - Berekum Hemaa pledges

The newly enstooled Queen mother for Berekum Traditional Council Nana Kosua Ameyaahene III has promised to help end internet Fraud in Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Sakawa as popularly known as, has been a bad practice by some section of the Youths in Berekum where they spent most of their time on the internet to dupe any white who will fall victim.

As part of measures to stop this, the Berekum Traditional council in collaboration with the Banks in the Municipality do not sanction withdrawal on any money for these guys.

Addressing the issue, the newly Outdoored Queen mother said, this is getting most of the guys engaging in this leading them into madness and other social vices.

"I will plead with all parents to advice their sons to desist from receiving such bad monies" Nana Hemaa stressed.

"I Know every Ghetto in Berekum here, and so we pray to God and with the help of Nananom am going to end this thing in our town".

She also appealed to Citizens of Berekum both at home and Abroad to support the development of Berekum.

Nana Ameyaahene was Outdoored on October 5 2018, making it the first out dooring of a Queen Mother in Berekum in Forty Five (45) years.
