The football administrator promised to support Division One and Premier league players from Sunyani in this COVID19 era for a period of three months. The first payment was made in April 30th to fulfil the promise.
As reported by fillascornergh.com earlier on Forty-Seven (47) individuals benefitted where each player received Ghc 100. This number miraculously humped to Sixty-three in the second month.
The Final payment of what has been termed as "Ernest Osei Boateng COVID19 Relief" was made today, June 30. This time around Sixty-two Sunyani based football players received the said amount to aid them in this era of no football activities in Ghana.
In an interview with the special aid to the philanthropist, Buhari Zakari hinted that the payment could be extended.
"We have received multiple calls from people pleading to Chairman Osei Boateng to extend the payment and we are yet to decide on that"
"But what I can disclose to you now is that the media has not been left out, there is an arrangement for a "Get Together" mostly for the sports Presenters in Sunyani this Saturday at 1pm. The venue will be communicated to you soon"
Mr Ernest Osei Boateng recently left BA United as the Club's Chief Executive Officer. He had earlier served in this same capacity for Bofoakwa Tano FC, Wamanafo Mighty Royals and Ghana Premier league sides Berekum Chelsea FC and Techiman Eleven Wonders.
