Ernest Osei Boateng pledges to pay three months salary for Sunyani football Players



Immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Brong Ahafo Football Club Mr Ernest Osei Boateng has pledged to pay three months salary of premier and Division One League  players from Sunyani.

The football administrator cum bussisman will assist the players numbering to about 35 individuals One Hundred Ghana Cedis  (Ghc 100) each for a period of three months.

Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, football activities have been halted in the world including the Ghana premier league and the division one. 

This has brought economic hardships on some players most especially the smaller clubs and the Division one. 

The football administrator in an interview with fillascornergh.com disclosed the reasons behind this kind gesture 

"We all know what is happening now to our football due to the coronavirus, our various clubs are struggling so it is part of my social responsibilities to help as a stakeholder of football in the region to do the little I can in times like this"

"I am doing this for a period of three months starting from April 30th to June 30th" he added. 

Mr Ernest Osei Boateng has served as the Chief Executive Officer of clubs such as the Ghana premier league champions Berekum Chelsea and division one clubs Bofoakwa Tano FC and Wamanafo Mighty Royals.
