Your trusted news portal fillascornergh.com can confirm to radio listeners in and around Berekum in the Bono region that a new radio station has been added to the already existing ones in the Golden City.
Kaakyire FM will broadcast on the frequency modulation 102.9 mhz from the Berekum Main Station, the story building opposite Adwenpa Plaza.
The station is an outfit of Kaakyire Media owned by Ghanaian Hi Life legend and one time Movie Director Kaakyire Kwame Appiah.
The official test transmission started today Monday, Monday, December 16 2019 and will compete with the other commercial radio stations in the region.
Already existing radio stations in Berekum are Chris FM, Shalom Radio, Akomapa FM and newly established Master FM. GN Media outfit Agoro FM and Ahenfo Radio are closed down by the National Communication Authority
