Opening speech by the Chief Executive Officer of Hyperlink Media awards Mr Arnold Mashwood stated that there were some nominees who tried to buy votes from them which did not work
"This is the only award scheme which allows you to know your vote.
There were several attempts to buy votes but since we believe in credibility and fairness that attempt failed "
A lot of workaholic media practitioners were awarded, of which Madam Audrey Akosua Tindana of ABN's Sunyani outfit Angel FM emerged as the Best Radio Personality in 2019.
