Managements of Bofoakwa Tano Football club and Dormaa Aduana Stars have called off their friendly match which was scheduled for this Sunday.
The two Bono based Division One club and the Two times Ghana premier league champions were set to lock horns at the Sunyani coronations park on Sunday, November 24.
The Communications director for the Sunyani based Bofoakwa Tano FC, Mr Evans Prempeh announced the cancellation in a statement sighted by fillascornergh.com.
"Due to circumstances beyound our control Aduana stars have pulled out of the friendly game with Bofoakwa Tano on sunday 24th November 2019.
We assure our fans that we are in talks with another premier division side in our quest to engage the team this weekend in sunyani.
Any inconvenience is deeply regreted" the statement reads.
The reasons behind this sudden change is yet unknown but could be attributed to some reports circulating in the media that Aduana Stars players have boycotted training this week.
Our outfit can disclose to you that Aduana Stars have been replaced by another Bono based Premier league club, Bechem United.
This friendly matche is going to be a preparations for both clubs ahead of the new season which is reported to start in the middle of December.
