The Mawerehene for Berekum Traditional Council Nana Owusu Nsia has called on the National Communications Authority and National Media Commission to put a ban on fetish priest advertising themselves on Television and radio.
Speaking at a news conference in Berekum as monitored by your trusted news portal fillascornergh.com, the formal Inspector General of Police who has also served as Ghana's Ambassador to Isreal stated that these fetish priests are the causes of outbreak of "Sakawa" in our society.
"If I have the power now I would have banned those fetish priest who appear on our Television and Radio, they are influencing our youth in engaging in quick money which turns to be Sakawa"
The Berekum Maawerehene stressed that they have no powers as they appear on the television.
"Such fetish priests have no power but they will act something on the television just to deceive and influence you especially our youth " He added.
Currently Nana Owusu Nsia is a council of state member for the Republic of Ghana.
